Mr Butterfield go...

Mr Butterfield got me a fair agreement in my separation, which meant less tension later on between my child's father and me. Michael really know his stuff and his forthrightness is refreshing. He may seem a bit gruff but I found him incredibly supportive. I highly recommend him.

I would never rec...

I would never recommend this lawyer. He may have skill with non conflict divorces but is way out his depth when it comes to contested divorces. Keep track of your billing also, he overcharged me three times in about six months. The kicker of my experience is losing every personal possession I owned due to his disregard of followup with my ex's attorney.

Michael Butterfield really helped.

I was really scared of the cost and stress of going to court. Michael Butterfield helped me understand my choices. I had not really heard of Collaborative Law until I went to Butterfield. We did not have to go to court and we are still friends.
