We stopped in to this Bakery on the way up north. We were impressed with the outside entrance to the store. It looked very homey and comfortable. What a surprise we had when we went inside and saw all the homemade breads and goodies. The homemade raisin bread was incredible and didn't last in our house. The pastries put Timmy's to shame and the coffee was great. Friendly service as well from the young gentleman at the counter.

I've been going to Peter's since I was in high school in the late 80's and it's always great. The service is excellent and it's nice to have a restaurant where you can get regular diner food like hot dogs, grilled cheese and fries and gravy (and their chocolate milkshakes are wonderful, too). The serving staff is nice and friendly and a lot of them have been there for many, many years so I think Peter's must be as good to their staff as they are to their customers. Peter owned the restaurant for a long time, but retired a couple of years ago and the food has remained constant. Peter's is a great place to eat if you're looking for family-friendly diner-style cuisine.
