You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines. Had the most amazing meal at St. Lawrence. The food was out of this world and the service was impeccable. You really feel like you're in another city when you're sitting in there. We had the foie gras appetizer, baked potatoes done like poutine, the steak frites, lamb, and sugar pie for dessert. All were delicious and I can't wait to go back!
